In late January our parent organization (the GSGRA better known as "the State") held its annual Royalty competition right here in Los Angeles.  The new 2008 GSGRA royalty team are Miss GSGRA Patty Wagon (aka Doug Havrika), Mr GSGRA Just John, and Mrs GSGRA Elizabeth Anderson.

 The first of what promises to be a tradition, on Dec 31 2007 the LA Rodeo teamed up with DJ Rick Dominguez to host "A Country New Year's Eve" in Beautiful (close to) Downtown Burbank.

Out in the relative rurality of Calabasas, where its just a little darker and closer to the scary mountains, Miss Patsi (Miss GLAC 2007) helped host a Halloween party that was attended by several of our members. My sight might have been hindered (or helped) by the large tub of Alabama Slammer that I thought was for Bobbing for Apples.

On October 21, parts of the new and old executive boards joined forces and walked in AIDS Walk Los Angeles.

At our December 2007 membership meeting, the following dates were approved by our membership as the meeting dates for all of 2008.  For the most part, all dates (except for September and October) are the second Saturday of every month... done so for consistency and easy planning... that way you'll always know when the meetings will be!
