Roger Bergman Enters IGRA Hall of Fame

Congratulations to one of our very own, Roger Bergman on his induction into the IGRA Hall of Fame!!!
Announced at IGRA Convention this year, Lorry King gave a fun synopsis of how he got involved in rodeo - from sneaking into stock yards at a young age to trying to guess the scores of contestants at rodeo events. Lorry went on to be more serious and shared Roger's early involvement in rodeo, his love of dance from way back in the Floyd's days, his IGRA presidency and his continued desire to judge and stay involved with the IGRA family. Al Bell, a former inductee and founding member of GSGRA, now has company.
LA Rodeo at Long Beach Pride Proposal Tabled

As you may have heard, the membership passed a motion at the October meeting to hold the 2008 LA Rodeo in conjunction with Long Beach Pride contingent upon approval of the proposal put forth by our organization to theirs.

IGRA Convention Proposed Rule Changes

IGRA Convention is coming up. One of the many functions of convention is to propose and pass new rules - bylaws as well as changes to the rodeo rules (how events are run). There are some interesting rule changes proposed for the IGRA convention coming up...i’ve listed the ones that seem prominent.
