Paul Thompson (April 30, 1944 - September 5, 2007)

Paul Thompson passed away on September 5th, 2007 after a battle with liver cancer. Paul was a wonderful and giving person, who lavishly gave his time to the Rodeo, United Methodist Church, and LA Shanti among others.
Membership Directs Future of LA Rodeo 2008

August Chapter Meeting at Bolsa Chica State Beach

The chapter held a meeting / beach party at Bolsa Chica State Beach on Sat August 11. Although traffic was a challenge getting there, the beaches were packed with wonderful scenery. The afternoon meeting ended just as the sun was setting, and great BBQ , a ukulele sing-a-long, and a roaring fire made for a great night.
Special thanks goes out to Paul Alvarez, who staked out our spot on the beach at O'Dark 30 - and to MCC who generously shared their firewood and ring with us.
GLAC Has Royalty

Rodeo royalty, whose main function is to be the ambassadors of our organization, were inaugurated after a two day process in which the contestants showed off their best in Western Wear, entertained, went through a rigorous interview, and was continually evaluated for public presentation.
AIDS Walk LA - Team LA RODEO
